Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
Alhamdulillaah we had nice time yesterday with Ummu Abdillaah and kids and sister Ummu Maryam and her kids! We studied a little bit, ate some snack and went out to the park and kids had fun time! Z can`t wait to go again there!
I liked a lot Ummu Abdillaah`s idea to demonstrate the life cycle of butterfly, so I made also quite same kind of teaching materials. I didn`t have lots of time to do these, so I used pearls as eggs and for caterpillar. Chrysalis is made from a roll bandage :).
At first there is a butterfly... It flies and finds some leafes.
It puts it`s eggs on the leafe.
After some time a caterbillar comes out from the egg. It eats leafes.
After some time the caterbillar makes for herself a chrysalis.
Again after some time a new butterfly comes out from the chrysalis.
Today our new Arabic word was a camel جمل .
We didn`t do any exercises yet, only studied some things about camels and listened their voice.
I found new books from library for seasons. We had this one about spring already, but now we have all the seasons alhamdulillaah! It`s true that in Finland Spring comes quite late, statistical seasons in Finland are:
Winter: From December to February
Spring: From March to May
Summer: From June to August
Autumn: From September to November
But sometimes there are still snow on April for exampe!
I made for Z a picture book about many themes. I think we can use the pictures to study both Arabic and Finnish words inshaaAllaah. This is again from Papunet resources from here . There can add or leave pictures and make an own picture book!
Today we spoke also about feelings.
Now I could choose the feeling "tired" :).
